Contest Rules

WAVE System Summer Rental Giveaway for a 25-swimmer system (valued at $6,000!)

  1. Entry form must be completed in full to qualify

  2. The winner of the drawing and two back-ups will be announced on Friday, May 9th, at 5pm PDT.
  3. Winner will be responsible for finalizing arrangements (see below) with WAVE (and the pool operator if  you use another organization's pool) by Thursday, May 15th to ensure there is enough time to prepare the system before the summer swim season begins.
  4. Iff the winner cannot finalize arrangements by May 15th, the first back-up winner will be contacted and have until May 22nd, 2025 to finalize arrangements. If the first back-up cannot do that, the second back-up will be contacted for the opportunity.

Steps required to "Finalize Arragements:"

  1. Hold a deployment planning call with your BGC management and WAVE (and the contact lead at your offsite pool if applicable)
  2. Finalize the details on how the WAVE system will be set up and operated at the pool.
  3. Schedule a staff training session
  4. The BGC (or pool operator) must sign a summer rental agreement with WAVE

NOTE: If you use a pool operated by a different organization, that organization must commit to having the WAVE system in full operation whenever your BGC swimmers are in the pool. That organization is allowed to use the WAVE system to protect other swimmers as well, as long as that use does not interfere with use by BGC swimmers.
